Versa 2 corrupted screen

ANSWERED

PXL_20240321_122901270.jpg

my versa 2 screen randomly started flickering today. I've read the forums and have restarted 4 times and changed the clock face 3 times like others had suggested with no resolution. Any other suggestions? The device is still working properly, it's just the display screen.

Hi there, @Jesse-Hamner. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention, for the troubleshooting steps you've tried, and for the image attached. I'm sorry to hear that the screen of your Versa 2 is still corrupted. I understand where your concern is coming from, I will do my best to help you with this!

As our last resort, I'd recommend performing a factory reset. Important: Take in consideration that a factory reset deletes any stored data, which includes all data that hasn't synced to your Fitbit account and your applications, alarms, etc.

With that being said, please try the following steps to complete the factory reset:

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
    1. Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds).
    2. Hold the button again until you feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates you initiated the factory reset.

You can follow the steps to set up the device after that: How do I set up my Fitbit device?

Unfortunately that fix was temporary for me. It only lasted a few days and is back to the same white lines on the screen. It stared again 3 days ago. Still continues to charge and work appropriately, it's just the lines on the screen that won't allow me to see the time, messages, or set and turn off alarms.

Yes it’s only been temporary for me too - it’s done it about 3 times today! So far. 😠

This is happening to mine also. I’ve tried resetting but it’s still doing it randomly.

Very frustrating. I’ve only had the watch about 8 months!!!
