Versa 2 counting steps while tracking cycling

On the last few cycling trips I have tracked I noticed that it tracks steps at the same time as cycling. This is really misleading, when looking back at your activities. I should not count about 10000 steps while I'm cycling.

 

Is this happening for anyone else or is it a fault with me Versa 2?

Hi @Harboe, due to the recent events, I apologize for the delayed response. However, it's great to see you in our Fitbit forums.

 

Regarding the step tracked when tracking cycling, I would like to follow up and would like to know if the issue persists or if it got resolved.

 

In the meantime, restart your Versa 2 as described in this help article. After this, please check out this help page which explains why your watch may track steps while riding a bike.
