Not happy the screen is Green, when I press the button it goes fuzzy and Green but can see the time.

Anyone else have the same issue or know what to do?

Hi @Emagreen, welcome to the Community Forums!

I appreciate the information that was shared in your post, seems odd that your new device is behaving in such way. If you haven't already done so, please try our restart process following the next steps:

  1. For Fitbit Versa 2, hold the back button for 10 seconds.
  2. Let go of the buttons.
  3. If you still have issues with your device, turn it off and turn it back on. For more information, see How do I turn off my Fitbit device?

Keep me posted and let me know how it goes. By the way, I've moved your post to the Versa board.

Hey, I have the same problem with my Versa 2. Can you tell me how you solved it?

Hi!

I ended up taking my watch back to the store where someone reset it.

This lasted about 40 minutes before it went Green again so I took it back to the store and got a replacement.

If the screen is green and flashing, you can't see anything.  So how can you possibly navigate to settings in order to turn the device off and restart it?

Best Answer

Is there any other fixes for this as I reset the watch but the screen keeps coming on green

Best Answer

Same thing on mine.  No fix. This was a replacement for the last screen that went out.  I have had two versas 1 & 2 and neither one has lasted a year. This time no replacement was offered.  Just a discount to purchase a new one.  If they don't last  even a year I'm not keen about spending more money on another one.  I need to know they are going to last  longer than that for the price on them.

Mine was also replaced by Fitbit. It's been about 4 months, and so far, no
issues with the replacement.

My replacement lasted for 11 months. Then, same problem again. I'm not
buying another.

I just had this happen to mine, I held the button till the Fitbit logo came up, I let go and now it works like it did before, must be a bug!

No such luck for me. Tried all suggestions given to me.

Same thing happend to me as well

You may not need a new one. Especially if they are offering their
non-existent discount under warranty ( you can find it for the same price
or cheaper on Amazon or costco. Out of frustration I stored my fit bit in a
bag of rice forever, (forgot about it.) When I found it again I charged it
one last time and low & behold it started up. Been fine ever since. Don't
let them make you buy a new one. I'm still not at all confident in FIT BIT
company.

I'm currently going to the same experience now. Both my Versa 1 and versa 2 had massive issues. The solution was a discount running brand new Versa. By the way, the discount that they offered me, I found promoted online for anyone. So really, Fitbit did nothing for me.

Same problem and watched videos on how to fix it and none of them worked.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @asjoberg777 and @Francis99.

@asjoberg777 Thank you for joining the thread and sharing your experience. I understand how you are feeling and appreciate your feedback. I am sure our Support team tried their best to help you, each case is reviewed individually and a solution that's being provided is based on the Fitbit Warranty. I appreciate your understanding and hope to keep you in the Fitbit family.

@Francis99 Thanks for the details shared in your post and for already trying to resolve the issue. I recommend confirming if you've tried the following:

  1. Restart the device: How do I restart my Fitbit device?
  2. Switch to a Fitbit clock face: How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?

Hope this helps.
