I am posting because I couldn't find an answer anywhere else. Up until now, my Versa 2 has been working just great. I purchased it and began wearing in mid-May. I don't know the best way to describe what the display is doing, but I will try.
It is responding to all touch and button prompts as well as receiving notifications. But at all of these, the screen is also scrolling and scrambling the picture much like that of an old tv trying to gain an antenna picture. I took some pictures of this phenomenon but I am not sure how and I can share them, though I don't know if I can here.
I have not done anything beyond wearing my watch daily and charging when needed.

My Fitbit Versa had green lines all over screen when I put it in this morn. I tried Factory reset and other online options but this is ridiculous. I’ve only owned this 18 months. Also, where is the help chat? It used to be easy to find.

Hi @F1avadav3 and @ChrisH77777. Welcome! It's good to see you around the forums.
@F1avadav3, thanks for letting me know about your Versa 2 behavior and for your efforts to take pictures of this situation. Because the display is still not working correctly, let me suggest to change the clock face to one from Fitbit and perform a restart to refresh its performance.
@ChrisH77777, thanks for the time taken to troubleshoot your Versa. I understand where you're coming from and I'm sorry that you've gone through this experience. I've contacted our Support team and they'll create a case on your behalf to continue helping you with your watch. Please note that due to recent events affecting our operations there might be a delay in their reply, but they'll get in touch with you soon.
I'll be around, keep me posted.
