Versa 2 display is flickering

I got a fitbit versa 2 for christmas and have been setting it up over the past week or so. It's recently done the latest firmware update (35.71.6.19) and i've added a couple of fitbit clockfaces and apps to the device... however in the last 24 hours the screen has changed to a yellowish colour and flickers (occasionally so much that it's unreadable) it looks almost as if there's a kind of blue light filter which has been activated? While it's flickering every so often it does flash up with what i'd call a clear standard screen but then it quickly disappears again. I'm not sure how best to remedy this? I've reset the device by holding the side button and also changed the clock face back to the original again, but nothing has worked so far...
