Versa 2 doesn't turn on or take a charge

I just bought a versa 2, I placed it on the charger (poor design by the way) to start charging but it shows nothing. I alighned the charging prongs and still nothing! I tried pushing the button multiple times and held it on as well to no avail, isn't it supposed to show a charging battery or something?

@Eleacia, welcome to our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear that your Fitbit Versa is not turning on nor taking a charge. I really appreciate your feedback and the time spent trying the troubleshooting steps before contacting our forums.

I'd like you to try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. This article contains steps that you already tried but you can skip them and proceed with the rest. After this, charge your watch for 2-3 hours and see if the issue gets fixed.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

I'm facing the same issue, while connected to charger sometimes it shows Fitbit logo and other times it shows battery with an exclamation mark in red. Left the device to charge for 3 hours still not able to turn on....??

@Akhilakhi, thank you for joining our Fitbit Community and this thread.

Since your Fitbit Versa 2 is experiencing the same issue, I'd like you to restart your watch as described in this help article. After this, try changing the clock face to one developed by Fitbit, not a third party clock face. Finally, charge your Versa 2 for 2-3 hours and see if it comes back to life.

Let me know how it goes.

@Akhilakhi, thank you for getting back and providing more details about the issue.

Regarding your inquiry, yes you can change your Versa by plugging it to any USB port. Please try all the USB ports and see if your watch takes a charge.

I'll be around if the issue persists.

I've been seeing the troubleshooting steps you've suggested before I posted my problem on the community website.

I've tried the below steps
Tried charging with my PC, an UL adapter, my power bank and other adapters too.
Aligned the charger and device.
Gone through how to clean the device and done that.
Restart isn't an option for me.since the device is not turning on.
Yes I've left the device to charge as it is charging the way I mentioned before up to 2hours.
The above steps didn't work out so I'm thinking it might be a charger issue.

Did this ever get resolved. I'm in same boat after recent update. Nothing I do from instructions or otherwise is working.

It started working again so I guess it resolved for that reason and not
from action from customer service. They never contacted me about it.
