I've been trying to update my versa 2 for hours. Wouldn't work. Was going to pack it up and send it back then thought I would try one more time. I removed the software from my android phone and instead of reinstalling from google play I installed from play store and it worked flawlessly, Fitbit should remove it from google has there is something wrong with the program. Play store worked great! Hope this helps.
