I keep seeing a lot of users are struggling with this issue and don’t see any resolution aside from restarting it. My versa froze and I had to hold the side button multiple times to get it to finally reset. When it did reset, it still was frozen and would vibrate randomly and this has happened multiple times. It woke me up in the middle of the night vibrating and wouldn’t stop till I reset it a few times. This is getting quite annoying since it’s now interfering with my sleep, so what is the fix for this? Is FitBit working on a patch in the software or a permanent resolution because having to reset a watch every day because of this glitch isn’t acceptable. Especially when you’re wanting members to pay for premium when there’s a massive error occurring in the actual product.

This works the first few times. However, now I have a red X and thing. Works. I’ve had the watch for approximately 4 weeks and I’ve been searching everywhere for answers for two days and trying all kinds of resets, updates, uninstall and nothing. I’ll be calling tech support. It shouldn’t be this much trouble for an
new device.

I've only had the firmware update since yesterday and, up to now, it's been working normally. The swipe function is back and battery usage is down to around 10% per day, maybe a little more. I don't use the always on function except on occasion.
I need a couple weeks yet before I'm completely satisfied.
If you haven't done the firmware update yet, I would suggest it. It's quite easy and, for me, only took about 30 minutes. I would suggest, however, you have your phone and watch plugged in to their chargers.

I’ve gone through two replacements for my Versa before the year warranty was up. The last one was an upgrade to the Versa 2. It lasted about 6 months and now it has stopped working. FitBit gets grade reviews for its features and algorithms, but the hardware doesn’t last. It’s a lot to pay for a watch that needs replaced every 4-6 months.

I just tried the factory reset that is recommended to try and fix my frozen Versa 2. My versa 2 now has a red x with a message stating "data not cleared. Sync and try again". My versa 2 is now frozen on this message and it will not sync.

My versa keeps on freezing with only the fitbit icon on the screen, I haven't been using it for some time ive charged it and now it only shows the fitbit icon on the screen. It does nothing.
