My Versa 2 Is totally frozen. Looking at the forum I don’t see a version of the issue that I am experiencing.
I initialed the firmware update from the app and the watch appeared to go through the motions of updating. The next time I looked at the screen it was frozen on the Fitbit logo.
It was fully charged when I attempted the update.
If I attempt to reset (pushing the left button and bottom right button) it turns off. Pushing the left button to start brings back the same screen.
The device no longer shows as connected in the app and attempts to re-pair with Bluetooth fail, even after shutting off and restarting Bluetooth. I removed the device from the Bluetooth list and now the app can’t find the watch.
How do you do a hard reset/reboot of the Versa2? I don’t see anything online so does that mean once the watch is bricked there is no recovery?

My versa froze with the Fitbit update also. I texted Fitbit and all I got from the Fitbit texter was we will offer you % off of a NEW Fitbit. WHAT it worked fine until YOUR UPDATE. IS THIS HOW YOU TRY TO SELL ME A NEW ONE!!! Sounds like what the iPhone did. Make it not work to sell you a new one. Not happy with Fitbit what a rip-off.

Exactly what happened with my Iphone 3G back in the day.....bricked by a OS upgrade. That was the last Apple product I ever purchased.
