Versa 2 has a black screen

My versa 2 has a black screen, it won’t even charge now, I’ve tried leaving it to charge, tried holding down the reset button on the side. Still nothing. Is anyone else getting this same issue? I got told by a friend that it’s a common fault and get my money back. I’ve only had it for a year. Already contacted support they couldn’t really help.

Similar but different issue - my Versa 2 suddenly went black, and now it will occasionally turn on, but it looks like my LCD screen has been permanently damaged. I've never gotten it wet aside from sweat, and I've only had it just over 6 months, so not sure what happened. I was told by a friend also that she contacted support and got a replacement, but I haven't gotten anyone who could help with that.
