I went on a hike today and was elated to have hit my step goal. My Versa 2 reported to My Fitness Pal that I did 10,516 steps! Fast forward a couple of hours- I just looked at the watch again to sync it to my phone and it says 9,816. What gives? How did I lose that many steps? I've owned this thing for around a week.

Hi @Mich37732002, due to the recent events, I apologize for the delayed response. However, let me welcome you to our Fitbit Community.
I'd like to follow up and help you with your Versa 2 since it shows the wrong amount of steps tracked. In order to fix this issue, restart your Versa 2 as described in this help article. After this, please check out and follow the steps listed in this help page, which are great for this type of issues. Finally, monitor your watch during your next workout and see if the issue gets fixed.
Keep me posted on the outcome.
