my Versa 2 watch is acting odd.  Thinking I need to check the firmware version or update the latest.  What is the latest firmware and how do I update the watch?

When there is a new firmware version available for you, you will get an obvious message on your phone app, and it will give you button to press to go ahead with the update.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Hi there, @zrider03. Thanks for stopping by in the Fitbit Community Forums. @JohnnyRow Thanks for the information provided.

The current firmware version for Versa 2 is (35).72.1.23. For more information, see What's changed in the latest FItbit device update?

To better assist you, would you mind providing more details of the issue with your Versa 2? What is its behavior? Have you tried restarting it?

See the other threads on this group ... many many people have had a variety of problems with their Versa 2 recently, most notably with heart rate monitoring and sleep recording, but it's now wider than that.

I have the correct firmware version for my Versa 2, but my sleep tracking has not been working for the past 2-3 weeks, now my heart rate monitor is not working.  I have restarted my watch numerous time - 10 or so, removed my devise from blue tooth - shut off blue tooth, then turned back on, shut heart monitor off - synch’d, then turned back on - synch’d.  Still I can get them to work.

Any help is appreciated and it appears a lot of people are having issues.  Thanks, Jeni AKA jenipie

I cannot help...I am here to say that all was working well on Mar 9 with my Versa 2. When I woke up on Mar 10, my active minutes were no longer being recorded. and by end of that week all went down except tracking steps, floors, miles, and cals. I need to know if Fitbit is no longer supporting the Versa 2 in order to determine which Fitbit to purchase next. Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Get ready for your fit bit to stop working.  Don't be surprised when the company tells you that your warranty is no longer valid.  They will offer you a "discount" to keep you in the fit bit community.  Don't do it!  I made this mistake THREE times.  These watches are poorly designed and they do not stand behind their products.  Save yourself the dissapointment.

Having similar issues with my year old Versa 2. Sleep monitoring has been off the past couple of weeks and the heart rate feature seems to have stopped working last night/this morning. Tried all the tricks and restarting, but no luck!

I contacted support yesterday and did everything they recommended. However, nothing worked. As my device is 16 months old, I am out of warranty. I was sent the 35% discount, but there isn’t a chance I will be getting another device from them if I will only get a year or so. Seems to be a common issue, too bad they won’t stand by their products!!!
