As of yesterday my versa 2 is losing battery power quickly, wont swipe to apps and when it does it randomly opens apps. When i try a reset it goes to the timer app on screen.

Hi there, @A-L-L. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issues with your Versa 2.

To better assist you, please make sure you've restarted your Fitbit device as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device?. If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.

Hi Marre, Thank you for responding, I've already tried a shutdown, restart many times and clock change but it still won't swipe, respond to touch and still losing power, need to charge every day. It's very frustrating 😬

Hi Marre,

Can you help please? My fitbit has now stopped working completely. The screen is black, it won't charge or switch on, no life at all.

I'm having the same problems.

Hi @A-L-L , @Jattack - when a watch suddenly starts behaving strangely it is normally a sign of a software or hardware fault.

If you have tried holding the button for 10 seconds till it vibrates and the logo appears and wait for it to start to eliminate a software issue and there are still problems it seems there is a hardware fault. Most often this happens after the watch has been exposed to water.

Facing the same issue, tried switching it on and off multiple times. Tried changing the clock face as well. But the touch behaviour is still erratic.

Hey, if it's a hardware issue, what could be the fix? Or is there no fix whatsoever? Aren't these watches water resistant?
