Versa 2 is not receiving notifications

I bought a Versa 2 for me and my son.  Neither Watch transmits notifications for Calendar, Emails or Texts. We both have iPhone 8.  I have done the following already:

- re-boot the watch

- reset Bluetooth on the iphone 8

- allowed notifications in Bluetooth for all settings

- allowed notifications in the Apps for all settings

We are VERY close to selling these and buying a Garmin product.

Please let us know if there are options we still need to explore to make things work.

Please try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. This article contains steps that you already tried but you can skip them and proceed with the rest. Finally, monitor your watches and see if they receive notifications properly.
