First off, I do love my Versa2, which is why this is so upsetting to me.
I've had the watch for a few months under a year and it's been great! Worked just as I thought it would, it's been my first smart watch and I'm hooked.
However, today my steps went from roughly 5,000 to saying I met my step goal of 10,000 in a matter of 5 minutes. Which I know was untrue by the activity I was doing. Is there a way to fix this and figure out why it did that?
Thanks!

Hi there @CharlieN1011, welcome to the Community Forums. I understand why you'd feel upset about what's happening to your Versa 2 accuracy. It's great to hear that you've been loving your watch since you got it. I'll be glad to help you with this.
May I know if this happens when doing certain activity? Your watch has a finely-tuned algorithm that looks for intensity and motion patterns to track your steps. However, your watch may add some steps when performing other activities that involve arm movements, such as working or cooking, to give you credit for those steps. For more information, see How does my Fitbit device count steps?
That said and if your watch is updated to the latest version, I'd recommend to restart your Versa 2 to correct any misbehavior, wear it snug on your wrist and monitor its behavior.
