Versa 2 keeps unsyncing from galaxy

My Versa 2 drops the sync wirh my A10E Galaxy randomly and often.

Is this a common problem? Is there something that I should be doing to avoid this?

Try disabling battery saving and clear cache

 

On the phone check battery optimizations

[the options may be different in your version]

  • First go to Settings > Apps & Notification > Special app access
  • Click on Battery optimization
  • Now press the drop down menu [...] and select “All Apps
  • Click on Bluetooth and then select “Don’t optimize
  • Same with Fitbit
  • Next go to Settings > Apps  > Fitbit > Storage
  • Clear cache [not data]
  • Force stop the Fitbit app

@Goodwin1929 I would start with this help doc.

On some android phones power management for the Fitbit app needs to be disabled as explained in the android tips. No need to disable power management for the whole phone. 

No if the tracker syncs when the app is open but not while the app is in the background, it usually is power management. 

On some android phones if tge Fitbit app is in the front when the phone closes. The app gets put to sleep.
