I just lost 12000 steps when I synced. I had a huge day today of over 42000 steps according to my watch. I just synced and now only have 30000 according to app and watch. The steps taken during my hike today are all now uniform in the graph. Very disappointing for this to happen in such an epic day.

Hi there @Notey3, thanks for stopping by in the Community Forums. I understand why you would feel disappointed after losing your steps. Thanks for the details provided in your post about what happened after syncing your Versa 2.
Is this the first time something like that happened? Did you sync your watch before wearing it for your activity? I'm not sure what might have caused this, but I would expect this to be one glitch and I would ask you to keep an eye on your Versa 2. In case this happens again, please let me know and I will be glad to further investigate.
If you remember the exact amount of steps or the name of the activity you performed, you can try manually logging the activity. To get more information about this, check the article: How do I add, edit, or delete Fitbit data and activities?
Additionally, it'd be great to take a look at: How do Fitbit devices sync their data? to get more information about how your Versa 2 syncs.
Was my post helpful? Give it a thumbs up to show your appreciation! Of course, if this was the answer you were looking for, don't forget to make it the Best Answer! Als...
