Versa 2 no longer getting texts

I was previously getting text message notifications on my Versa 2, but it stopped. It still syncs the steps and stuff. I've followed all the guidelines - 

Checked notification settings on app and Android phone, deleted and reinstalled the app, unpair & repair, reboot both watch and phone, factory reset and reconnect watch. It's not on DND or Sleep mode.

Any suggestions?

Hi @Aces99 - if you reinstalled the app it may be necessary to setup notifications again, see How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device?

I am also having the same issue. I can't get phone call notifications either. I spent 3 hours going through and reading everything.

I think I found the fix on an old community post.

Go to the fitbit app. Tap picture of the fitbit (with battery percentage)
in the top left corner. Click versa. Scroll down past the blocks with clock
face, apps, etc. There will be things underneath. Under General, click
notifications. Turn on messages and click to pick your message app, you can
add other apps, too, like messenger.

It worked!  Finally.  I've been trying to figure out how to add my Google Wallet for MONTHS...literally.  And add messages back!  Thank you!
