Versa 2 no longer responding

I was off on vacay and had my trusted versa2 charged and ready to go.  Everything was fine the day before but when I put it on in the morning after charging, it had just a brief flickering snowy screen.  I tried to reset it and nothing is working.  Can’t connect to it or anything.  I think it is goner.  Unfortunately from other posts I have seen the life expectancy is not very good on this product.  Any suggestions other than to switch to Apple?
