Hi I purchased a Versa 2 for Christmas and did the normal setup and have managed to receive all notifications with calls, calendar alerts but have not been able to receive any text messages. Other apps that I have set to notify all work fine.I have read through and attempted several of these troubleshoot procedures. Have deleted app reset phone, reset watch but still no messages. All settings are set correctly but still cannot get it to work. I am running updated IOS on iphone 10.
Have not done a factory reset as I'm sick of continual setup of watch.
Someone please help.

Please try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. This article contains steps that you already tried but you can skip them and proceed with the rest. Once you've followed these steps, monitor your watch and see if the issue gets fixed.

Hi thanks for the reply. I have gone through all 5 or 6 steps in the troubleshoot and still no luck. I have even deleted fitbit app and did a factory reset. Very frustrating having to set up every thing again.
Is it possible that there is a setting in the dashboard or a verification not ticked. I had this exact same problem in 2016 with my charge fitbit but cannot remember what I did to rectify it. I just remember that it was a simple solution and was amazed that I never picked it up.
Or is it possible its just faulty???

I take it that from no reply or help I am to return my Fitbit as a faulty unit and replace it.
