I have tried literally every trouble shoot on this forum and my Versa 2 still will not receive notifications from my phone.
Also, I want to add rowing (like from a home rowing machine) to the exercises but it does not seem to be an option? Can I add manually?

To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which iOS mobile device are you using? Also, when was the first time you experienced this? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? to see that all the necessary requirements to receive notifications on your Fitbit are correctly configured and to try some troubleshooting steps.
In regards your rowing machine question, let me know that this specific activity cannot be directly tracked with your Versa 2, however, you can manually add this exercise following the steps that are specified on our help article: How do I add, edit, or delete Fitbit data and activities?.
