I purchased my fitbit Classic Versa May 2019 then December 2020 screen blacked out after 7 months of owning it. When contacting customer service they gave me 2 options to either replace with the same device or upgrade for half off. Now I obviously chose the upgrade because who wants the same faulty device again. Now I'm having issues with my fitbit Versa 2 not receiving Text messages. I tried all of the troubleshooting steps to see if that would be fixed and it wasn't. So im left with the choice Of returning because well its not working the way its advertised. But now apparently I dont have any other options for replacing my fitbit because Fitbit cant fix the issue of software. So I technically lost the 200 dollars I paid for my 1st fitbit. Calling customer service was just a waste of time and Im super annoyed and frustrated with the treatment and lack of caring the people I dealt with had. I have no idea what else Im supposed to do except go to samsung or apple for my next purchase. 3 years of being a loyal customer and this is what I get for my money, No thanks.

Ive already confirmed a refund for my watch. Took it to fedex today.

I understand your pain! My Versa 1 stopped working after 1 year. I had insurance so I was sent a Versa 2 back in December. I've had the Versa 2 for almost a month and I can tell you I have received 1 text! I should have bought the Galaxy watch.
