Versa 2 not receiving text notifications

My versa 2 stopped receiving text msg. It will receive phone calls, but no text. When I go to notifications settings on Fitbit it says a phone restart is necessary, so I've done that multiple times and nothing works. I have deleted the app multiple times, unpaired the tracker. It tends to work for a few minutes after I do that but then the msg will pop up saying I need to restart phone.

I also have alot of difficulty syncing to the app in general, as well with the Strava app, the tracker won't stay connected.

To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which mobile device you're currently using? Also, when was the first time you experienced this? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? to see that all the necessary requirements to receive notifications on your Fitbit are correctly configured and to try some troubleshooting steps.

I am using a Huawei p30 lite, android.

These problems have being going on constantly since I bought it about a month ago. I have gone through the recommendations you sent and have done everything possible, checked all settings and such. 

I've restarted my phone multiple times and still get the notice that I need to restart my phone for the notifications to work. When I do delete the app and clear cache, the notifications will work for a couple days then stop working.

Thanks for the details that were shared with me and for trying the steps that were shared on my previous post, seems odd that just after clearing the app's cache you start receiving text notifications again. Since you're receiving phone call notifications but not text messages, can you please make sure that power management is disabled for the Firbit app? Your just need to go to your phone settings, then apps, Fitbit and finally Power/Battery.
