I've had my Versa 2 since black Friday. Here for the past few weeks it won't stay synced, ans my call/text/email notifications don't go through to it. When I try to sync it it will say searching for device.
YES my all day sync is on.
YES my Bluetooth is on.
YES I had tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling.
YES I have restarted the Fitbit.
YES I have removed it and reconnected it.
The same thing continues to happen.
My phone is a Galaxy S10, with Android 10. And fitbit firmware is 35.70.7014
I am beyond annoyed and frustrated. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi @Ashstinson89 , the new Firmware version is the problem, there is a bug in this version which mainly seems to affect Samsung users (I have a Lenovo P10 Pro tablet which is not supported by Fitbit yet and also have the newest Firmware without any problem). Fitbit is aware of this problem and working on a fix for it, untill that time you have to be patient, although I realize that's very difficult to accept. Regards kuzibri

They are awa6of the glitch with newer phones for a yr now with no updates. have you heard directly ftom Fitbit staff that they are currently working on the issue. I gave up.and sold mine, but so willing to get an upgrade they care to fix the issue. Thanks

I'm having the same issues with syncing. I have to uninstall and reinstall most nights. I've been a fitbit user for years. I decided I wanted an upgrade, so for our Anniversary on January 1st of this year, my husband bought me a Versa 2. It's been nothing but frustrating. I shouldn't have to spend an hour of trying things to get it to sync. I'm about to return mine and go back to my HR CHARGE 2. If so many people are having these issues then when can we expect it resolved. I guess upgrading isn't always a good thing. First fitbit I've been extremely disappointed in.

I woke up this morning, got ready for my workout and cannot get my Versa 2 to sync with my phone or my laptop apps. I tried using Alexa as a test as well as the weather app on the versa, which unsurprisingly doesn't work either. I checked to see when it last updated and it was at 3:10pm yesterday. I am so frustrated with this. I have the Pixel 3 phone. And to think I considered purchasing yearly membership! Probably wouldn't work either with this problem.

I just purchased the Versa 2 yesterday I was using the fossil Sports Smart Watch and wanted to try a watch with bigger face. Done a big update on the watch when I was setting it up yesterday took about 2 hours to complete. And everything was syncing fine and slept with watch on then turned Bluetooth back in this morning and the sleep data appeared on my app, drove to work (in car it connects to my phone) then when I got to work I noticed I wasn't getting my whatsap notifications sent to watch so I checked when it was last sync and it said the time I was driving into work. I keep pressing sync but it doesn't sync and gives me a red escalation mark next to it. I deleted app re installed no further. Then I removed watch from my app.. Now having issues trying to add it on because now when it's trying to search for my watch nothing appears... Yet watch is powered on.. Bluetooth is on on my phone. So I'm very frustrated... Can anyone help. I have been trying to get support from fitbit via twitter and Facebook but all I get is links to forums. My phone is Huawei p30 pro and its on 9.1 android OS. Helpppp

This is my first Fitbit. I was really excited to have it. But not since it's been doing this. You would think they would fix the issue instead of losing customers.

Good thing you didn't purchase the membership! It seems this has been going on for sometime and if effects alot of people. You would think they would find a solution before they lose customers.

Lol dammit I got excited when I seen ur message! I can't even get to thay stage cos I can't get my watch re added back on it won't find it when it's searching arhhhhh

Got it working again... For now.. How's is everyone? I had to fully factory reset my watch then set it up again and do the massive software update which takes like over an hour. But anyway for now it's workin....

Yes. Last night when I finally had time I researched the problem a bit. I noticed that the bluetooth on my phone would not connect to the versa. So I followed steps online to just restart my versa and - voila, it started working again! It is still synced with my phone this morning so I'm all good now. Now if anyone can tell me how to get Alexa set up again????

Have you tried connecting your alexa account? I found it easy make sure it's the same account u use in ur alexa devices because I have multiple ones I use for amazon prime account to do shopping and a separate account for my actual alexa devices in the house lol and yes my versa 2 is syncing fine today.... Though I'm nervous how long it'll work for cos I'm still in my cooling off period and can return it if it doesn't work...

Also I watched this video and it helped me aswell to make sure it syncs properly
