Versa 2 not syncing to Samsung 5

Every time I try to sync it says "Update the Fitbit app: Hey there! to set up Fitbit Versa 2, make sure your Fitbit app is updated and your phone is running Andriod OS 7+ To learn more see our help article" And it won't let me. Please help me nothings working and I just installed the app and my phone is a Samsung s5

@PockyPuppy I had a Galaxy S5 that I was still using around the house until about 6 Months ago. It had an older version of the Fitbit app and would no longer update. The outdated Fitbit app was limited. According to wiki, Android version 6 was the last update for the S5.So you're below specs to download the current Fitbit app. Sorry.

3. What version of Android is on the phone??

4. What version of the Fitbit app do you have installed??
