Versa 2 not tracking sleep

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Suddenly my versa 2 has stopped tracking my sleep. I got nap data though when I took one last night. My battery is full. I have not changed how I’ve worn it. I’ve reset phone, fitbit, app. Nothing is helping. It’s weird how it caught my nap but not my sleep.

Hi @Calebringabell

I'm sorry to hear you are having an issue tracking your sleep. I'm also having this issue. It started a few days ago and I did several restarts and a shutdown, which caused me to lose the current days data, but got sleep tracking the following day. However, I'm back to the same issue today. I'm going to do some investigation and I'll let you know when I find a solution. Please also post if you find something that works for you.

If anything Id like to see if others are also having the issue. I know tech support is very quick to their outline protocol of shutting down everything -and restarting haha.

This started last week on my Versa. Five out of 11 nights there was incomplete data, so I don't get the Advanced Sleep Analytics (looks like a nap). I pay for the Premium, basically for this one data point because this is the one thing I am really interested in besides steps and calories burned, etc. I haven't changed anything about my bed or the way I sleep, so that's out. My incomplete data for two nights ago magically appeared today, but last night was again incomplete.  All the incomplete data for last week remains so. I was considering upgrading, but that obviously won't correct the issues. As my Versa and the Versa 2s seem to have the same issues. There is always an issue after an update, but I don't recall there being one in the last two weeks.

See I am wondering if it’ll magically appear but I am getting less hopeful. I haven’t changed anything recently so I don’t know what’s happening either. I don’t understand it reading a nap but not my 8 hour sleep.

Hey Marci,

I noticed my Versa was giving me data every other day for my sleep. Clearly something was wrong. I kept in contact with support. The last thing that has helped and I now seem to be getting data every day (granted its only the second day of getting it) is factory resetting my Fitbit. I will update you if that has fixed it for good. I am hopeful.

Respectfully,

Caleb

Dear Melly63,

I was getting inconsistent data, it would show me data every other day. I was in contact with support and the last thing they had me try (its only been 2 days, but I am receiving data again) is for a factory reset of the watch itself. I am hopeful that this will not happen again. Maybe its something you could try if you feel comfortable with it. I will update you if it works for an entire week.

Respectfully,

Caleb

Question.

Does FITBIT even respond to these issues, in this forum.   I've reviewed several other posts and very few FITBIT replies - from what i can tell.
