Versa 2 not tracking walk

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

In the last 2 weeks my V2 has stopped tracking my walks. Step count is ok but the ‘map’ of the walk shows straight lines between points where it must ‘connect’, or in some cases a vague circle from the start point. GPS On phone works fine using Strava and MapMyWalk. Have reset both phone and V2 with no improvement! Getting very annoyed 🤬

Hi @BigDave5060, welcome to our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear that your Fitbit Versa 2 is not tracking your GPS data properly. I totally understand how you feel about this and I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

I'd like you to try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
  • Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds).
  • Hold the button again until they feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates they initiated the factory reset.

After this, set up your watch from scratch. Finally, monitor your Versa 2 during your next walking activity and see if the issue gets fixed.

Keep me posted on the outcome.
