Hi there, @Getfitmum24. Thanks for stopping by in the Community Forums and sharing the details about the issue with your Versa 2.
Regarding the notifications, may I know the model of your mobile phone? Please make sure it meets the requirements listed here. For troubleshooting steps, see Why are notifications delayed or missing?
About the battery issue, see Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?

Hi MarreFitbit,
"Start shopping now" would be the best advice for you. You will find many other Versa 2 users describing the same issues elsewhere in the forum and on Reddit, etc.. A Google search will be an eyeopener. It seems as though someone may have invested in a bad batch of batteries or a Bluetooth device that isn't playing by the rules. Most seem to have purchased their devices between Oct. 2019 and Jan 2020, myself included.
The moderators recommendation to turn off Bluetooth on your connected device is not considering that you may have other Bluetooth peripherals connected via Bluetooth (headphones, car, etc.). Giving Fitbit the benefit of the doubt, I called support for assistance anyway. I hoped that they would assist with reversal of the update that triggered it, or perhaps, access to a beta patch.
What I got instead, was time with someone who seemed frustrated that I called, all but refused to assist with the two Versa 2s that I own and who, eventually escalated it to the Warranty Team.
A few minutes later I received 35% discount coupons that will not be applicable to any of the newer devices and have more restrictions on them than a teenager in Juvenal Hall.
The one good thing that did come of it, is that support tweaked something behind the scenes that caused it to sync with the phone again. So, for anywhere between 4 hours and 16 (while the battery lasts) per day, I will continue to receive notifications while I shop competitors for something a little better, a little more reliable, and from a company that stands behind their product. I've been a Fitbit advocate for several years. Started when I worked for a company that supported it. Always thought that the company had more integrity than this. No more Kool-Aid for me.
Best of luck to you.

I just resolved this issue with mine, I hope this helps y'all too.
1. Open your app and go to your Today page.
2. Click your profile pic in the top left.
3. Click on your device.
4. Under "General" click Notifications.
5. Check your call, text, calendar, and email settings to make sure they're correct.
6. Click App Notifications and make sure everything is checked that you are supposed to get notifications for.
This fixed it for me after HOURS of turning my phone off and on, deleting my Fitbit app and redownloading it multiple times, and restarting my Fitbit repeatedly, all in various orders.
Hope that helps ♡♡
