Hi,
I was just surprised that nobody else has come here to talk about the time line on back-order watches. I ordered a Versa2 in Bordeaux/Copper Rose Aluminum on Dec. 20th & received a confirmation that said "Fitbit Versa 2™ (Bordeaux/Copper Rose Aluminum) - On back order - Ships by 1/3/20" I was hoping it would ship sooner - but 1/3/20 has come and gone & still no shipping confirmation.
I've contacted customer service via live chat & confirmed that the warehouse was closed from 1/1 until today (1/6) and that order shipments would resume today. The customer service rep. that I spoke to offered to e-mail the correct department & ask them to work on my order to hopefully expedite shipping & I'm really hoping it will go out today. She said it should ship within this week 😞 Glad it's coming, but tired of waiting - I want my watch! My old Charge2 has black stripes through the display & I can barely read it anymore - it still syncs & I get all of my info. from the app now -- so I'm super anxious for my new Fitbit.
I thought I would post my experience in-case anybody else is wondering where their order is. They are apparently behind by a couple of days to a week or so!

Am I the only one still waiting for my watch that I ordered last month? I finally got a shipping # with FedEx (it has a label but FedEx has not received the package yet) and and estimated delivery date from Fitbit of Jan. 15th (I ordered on Dec. 20 & was given a message that it would ship by Jan. 3 - It's WAY late! I sure HOPE I get it by the 15th, I'm not counting on it at this point!) I understand the demand & the Holidays are holding it up - but the lack of communication & the lack of meeting promised deadlines is REALLY frustrating!

Finally! FedEx finally got the package & I will receive my watch by the 17th --- 4 weeks after I made the order - ugg! At least it's coming I guess. 😞

I just ordered a Fitbit Versa 2 and it says back order! I paid for expideted shipping!! I just saw all this comments about it taking way to long and now I regret buying it😭

You know, I don't remember exactly now, but I feel like it was a couple to a few weeks later than the promised shipping date +/-. Just enough to be really annoying, but not enough to be really upset - I guess.

It was a big sale - and just before Christmas - and I got the special color that was on back order.

Ahhh. Same. Black Friday sale. I just ordered the charge 4 is rosewood since my inspire stopped working on me. I didn't realize until after i made the purchase and looked at the email conf that is said backordered. Of course that would be my luck lol
