Versa 2 overheating after charging

I had kept my versa 2 watch for charge, and checked back after 30 minutes. When I removed it from the charger it was burning hot and the green light on the back was not flashing anymore. I tried switching it back on after a day, but seems like it won’t turn on. This is a brand new watch, and I have hardly used the watch for a month. Please help!
