Versa 2 price decrease because it’s crap?

I’m a third generation Fitbit user. I had the original, then the Blaze and decided to get the Versa 2. Big mistake!! I have spent endless hours with “customer service” to only have them read from a script and not give me answers. Upon my 5th or 6th chat with them, they sent me a Versa 2 replacement (just the component). They finally realized that my Versa 2 never worked properly. It didn’t sync, it didn’t turn on when I moved my wrist, it barely ever connected to my WiFi (I have Verizon WiFi and never had issues before) and trying to “tap” it to read the face never happened. So, I just charged the replacement put it on and I’m having some of the same issues. Now I see why the price went down $70.00 for the holidays. It’s CRAP! Fitbit must of realized they launched it too soon and want to move it out to bring the next in. I won’t be getting the next generation and want a refund for this one!

Hi @Dgirl10   return policy is here - click. Prices vary when there are sales, which is pretty much happening all over the world with the start of the holiday season, beginning with Black Friday. All customer support places I've contacted use a script because there are so many basic questions and that script helps with a faster response. Sorry you're unhappy.

A small percentage of all products are defective. Unfortunately, those that end up with a defective product are the most vocal so that hundreds complain while tens of thousands are quite happy!

Hi @karyg007  you just joined the forums, which Fitbit do you have? You've posted a few times and want friends. You should know this is NOT a dating site. People come here because they want to follow a more healthy lifestyle. What experiences do you have to share? I am curious how the heart rate monitor works for you with the amount of tats you have. Let us know that.
