Versa 2 refuses to re-pair

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I noticed my versa 2 had the wrong step count and battery life in the app after it "synced". It stopped receiving my texts and calls. I have restarted it...restarted my phone... Removed it from my phones Bluetooth....Removed it from my account... tried to re pair it. It says my versa has been found and says "connecting". It's gotten to the ( enter this number) once, but never connected. It keeps asking if I want to retry connecting... I've been trying for hours to connect my device back to my phone. What else can I try?

Hi @Polekat101, due to the recent events, I apologize for the delayed response. However, let me welcome you to our Fitbit Community.

I'd like to follow up and help you with the battery, step count, notifications and setup issues that your Versa 2 has experienced. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

Please try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
  • Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds).
  • Hold the button again until they feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates they initiated the factory reset.

After this, try the setup process as described in this help article. Then see if the setup gets completed and the issues get fixed.

Keep me posted on the outcome.
