Versa 2 registers wrong running pace

My versa two does not register my running pace correctly. When I run faster, it shows that I run slower and vice versa. Anyone know what could be wrong?

I think it is showing time per mile or km - maybe inverse of "pace" as you are thinking of it.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
