Versa 2 repeatedly gets "Bluetooth Pairing Request" message while already paired and syncing

This issue began a few days ago and its driving me crazy! EVERY time I open the app I get this pairing message. Occasionally it will not sync but usually does on its own. I wonder if the latest software update has a glitch. I will hit the pair button and nothing happens. Wouldn't it send me to my settings to do this if it was truly not paired? Anyone got a clue? I'm SO tired of this... one note that probably has nothing to do with it, I refuse to allow the additional tracking Google wants, so I get that message repeatedly too. Longing for the olden days of simple Fitbit usage...sad.

I'm now facing the same situation only with a Charge 2 instead .But other then that pretty much every thing described in the thread above has been happening to me as well. Every time I open the app to sync it tells me that I need to pair my phone with my Charge 2 the annoying message about how I need to do the Bluetooth pairing . This makes no sense at all because I'm still able to sync and have the steps I done reflect on the app for example if my Fitbit Charge 2 shows that I made it to 12,000 steps it shows up on the app with the exact same number and the website as well. Furthermore I have an app from my insurance company connected to Fitbit and my number of steps on that app always matches to the Fitbit app. I also have the WW Weight Watchers app connected to my Fitbit app and my step number on the WW app always matches to the Fitbit APP.  Another thing is that when I visit the website it always tells me when I last synced for example it will say last synced 15 minutes ago.

So if all of the things I described above are happening obviously my Fitbit Charge 2 is paired otherwise it wouldn't be able to sync

I am having a similar issue. My Sense is paired and sync is working but every time I refresh/sync it has a banner at the top of the app saying 'pair sense with your phone for a better connection'. I click the 'fix it' button but the message disappears. Then I get constant popup messages saying Bluetooth Pairing Request, I click 'pair' and it goes away. Straight away another one pops up.

I have tried:

  • logging out of the app
  • rebooting iPhone
  • force quitting app
  • forgetting device in Bluetooth
  • revoking device access in app

None of this has worked.
