So I had to do last update July 2021 approx. It ruined my watch! Shut off , no heart rate, talked to tech support who told me there was a glitch in the update… end result , no warranty but get 35% off another watch ( no new models) I think my watch was working perfect so a better discount is warranted?

Mine too. Watch was fine, did newest up and the screen suddenly went green and black. Refuses to reset. I let the battery fully run out and still doesn't work. Of COURSE I'm beyond the warranty period too. Really pissed that it's fault of the company. Sounds reminiscent of Apple💁:female_sign:💁:female_sign:💁:female_sign:

I am waiting for a supervisor to speak with me because I find it deplorable that I have to replace my watch after 18 months because of their update!!!!
I was also offered 35% discount. I asked them what lead them to believe I would purchase this product again!!!

My watch quite showing my pulse rate during excercises. If it their update that ruin my watch, I will not be buying another Fitbit ever. It like Samsung and IPhone. When a newer version of the phone is releases they make your old one obsolete so you have 5o buy a new one.

I will never buy another product from this maker. It is a scam. They want you to upgrade every year like the cellphone providers and use software updates to force it on you. I'll find another alternative.
Thanks for nothing Fitbit.

Wrecked our three fitbits versa 2s as well, on,y a couple of months old, all replaced with refurbished watches which is not acceptable by our law. Fitbit seem to think their company policy overrides countries laws.

I agree with you. Same issues I am having and feel because it is an issue with their update a better discount is warranted.

told to do a factory reset, it seems to have worked. I will know tomorrow
after I sleep and do excercises. But for now the pulse is reading again.
