Versa 2 screen and battery draining issues

The last couple of days, my versa 2 screen has not been swiping. I had the screen locked with a pin and it would randomly pop up but then not let me enter my pin. 
I reset my Fitbit but then when I charged my Fitbit yesterday, the full battery didn’t even last 5 hours. 
Any advice on what I should do?

Hi @Cat-mueller, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'd like to follow up and help you with your Versa 2 since it's experiencing screen and battery draining issues. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

 

Please try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

 

  1. On the device, hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds. 
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button, continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive). 
  3. When the device vibrates, release all buttons. 
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup.
  5. Set up your watch from scratch

After this, try the tips included in this help page in order to improve the battery life of your Versa 2.

 

Finally, monitor your watch and see if the issues get fixed.
