Versa 2 screen and battery issues

I've seen answers to part of my question, the part about the fitbit being stuck on the logo screen. But mine eventually turns on, after 5-8 hours, and the battery is always drained down to about 5 percent. This started on Monday I believe, and it happens at random points daily so far.

Not sure what I should do. I've tried holding holding back button down for the amount of seconds suggested but that doesn't work.

Hi there @RoseMiller93, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for sharing the details about the issue with your Versa 2.

At this point, I'd recommend performing a factory reset on your watch to see how it behaves with both the screen and battery. Before doing that procedure, make sure to remove your watch from your Fitbit account. Then, do the following:

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
    1. Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds).
    2. Hold the button again until you feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates you initiated the factory reset.

You can follow the steps to set up the device after that: How do I set up my Fitbit device?

Let me know how it goes.

Thank you for the instructions. I tried the reset, but it keeps just going back to the fitbit logo, no vibration or anything.

UPDATE:

I was just able to factory reset it, I just held down the button for 15 seconds rather than 8. I need to get home and charge the battery to set it up again, but so far the screen is responding and it's not frozen again.

Thank you so much for the help!
