Versa 2 screen and battery issues

Will not charge - cleaned everything, tried different plug ins. Toggles between black screen and logo...can feel it vibrate as when you hold it for 10 seconds, but will never actually restart. It's like it tries to and can't. 

 

Have tried the hold to reset MANY times and tied leaving on charger... nothing is working. Battery had fully drained to 0 when I tried recharging overnight. Now it's all messed up. 

 

Any other suggestions? Or is this just getting tossed in the garbage? Has never gotten wet, so that would not have caused an issue...
