Versa 2 screen black

My Versa 2 had a mind of it's own a few days ago, randomly starting workouts and flashing on and off. The watch was fully charged and when I woke up one morning the screen was just black. I tried restarting several times but watch is unresponsive. After about 4 time, I felt a tiny vibration (I think). Please help!

Hi @Danimasc13, due to the recent events, I apologize for the delayed response. However, let me welcome you to our Fitbit Community.

 

I'd like to follow up and help you with your Versa 2 since the screen went black and it won't turn on. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

 

I'd like you to try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

 

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds. 
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
  • Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds). 
  • Hold the button again until they feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates they initiated the factory reset.

After this, follow the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. This article contains steps that you already tried but you can skip them and proceed with the rest. Finally, charge your watch for 2-3 hours and see if it comes back to life.
