Versa 2 screen come loose

Has anyone else had their Versa 2 screen detach from their watch?

It looks like the watch itself is still working but the screen has separated from the watch and because it's so thin, there's nothing for it to clip back into

It's really annoying as I'm currently on a walking holiday and now have no watch!

It's never been near water or anything else that could effect it.

Any ideas on what to do next?

Sadly, there are quite a few posts reporting this issue. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be repairable. When you're back from holiday it's worth contacting customer support. They can check your warranty status and if you are still covered you should be eligible for a replacement. You can get them via contact.fitbit.com

Until then try taping it closed as should continue to work as long as it doesn't get wet.

I have had exactly the same happen with mine. It will sync up with app, but because screen has come away it won't display! I too am very careful with it and not worn in water though it says you can. Very disappointed, it is just out of warranty but i am still going to complain to Fitbit as I believe it's not acceptable,
