Versa 2 screen fell off

My fit bit screen has detached from watch back. It hasn’t been dropped , it happened while washing hands. Can it be repaired it still is working, very annoying as I don’t have a replacement watch.I have had it for a year and two months, and didn’t expect it to fall apart like this.

The screen fell off my fitbit as well.  The versa 2 was a replacement i received last august as the previous watch stopped working.  I'm being told that fitbit are using the warranty period for the first watch and even though the replacement watch is only 8 months old it is out of warranty.   is there anything i can do about this?
