Versa 2 screen frozen and button not responding

1. I can't perform a soft reset as the side button is not responding. I've held it in multiple times for 10-20 secs with no change.
I can't perform a hard reset because the screen is frozen.  I have also tried pushing a different clock face from the app to the watch but it didn't work either.
The watch still syncs to my iPhone and updates the app.  
 
Any ideas?

Hi, 

I had this same issue....I know your issue has been taken care of but posting in case it helps someone else.  My Versa 2 side button stopped working, then it froze on the "off hours" screen making it impossible to do anything....I couldn't even reset or restart my watch.

 

I let my watch battery completely die.  Once it died I put it on the charger and this restarted my watch automatically...and unfroze the screen!

@AndyRoberts488   What model Fitbit do you use?  Here is a link to all the Fitbit User Manuals.  You might get some help with your model.  Each manual has its own troubleshooting section.

They offered a replacement as beyond local repair.
