Versa 2 screen is corrupted

I have a Versa 2 which was sent to replace the one I had under warranty.  Now this one is unusable most of the time.  It flashes strange lights that make the screen illegible.  Eventually it returns to normal, but within a few minutes it starts again.   IMG_20231126_091127218.jpgIMG_20231126_091121383_HDR.jpg

Hi there, @ny27lars. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that the screen of your Versa 2 replacement is acting odd. I understand where your concern is coming from. Thanks for attaching those images, I'll do my best to help you with this.

Please restart your Fitbit device as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.

Let me know how it goes.

It didn't make any difference.  It will go back to normal for a while, but then show the corrupted display again.  The watch is still working, because the data is updating and it syncs with my phone.
