Versa 2 screen is unresponsive

My versa 2 fitbit watch is not working, the screen is black and I cannot connect or sync to my fitbit app. I can swipe to see the apps, but the apps will not open; therefore I cannot restart my fitbit.  Nothing is working, what do you suggest.

Hello there @JR1234, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about your Versa 2's screen behavior. I'll be glad to help you.

Please try restarting your Versa 2 as by holding the back button for 10 seconds. Let go of the buttons.

If the issue persists, let's then try a factory reset: 

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds. 
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
    1. Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds). 
    2. Hold the button again until you feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates you initiated the factory reset.
