Versa 2 screen issue

I just got a new versa2, after three days the back of the watch looks dirty all the time, at fist I thought that the watch came with a protective film, but i did't feel any edge to lift. so I started rubbing on it because I though it just might be something it was exposed to it. I rubbed it with moist microfiber towel, one side of it shows clearer now, but the rest won't go away. i don't want to hand polish it as it might void my warranty (also bought the extended) . the watch performs perfectly, i get in the shower with it about every three days to clean sweat, body oils etc..

Caveats: I work in a warehouse environment, restoring wiring on old cars, so I'm not in a clean environment and it's an environment that will scratch me all the time, but not my dear watch. I love it so far.  I cover my watch with a wrist wrap that my doctor had given me when I suffered a broken wrist. so  so far no scratches.

I'm embarrassed when my coworkers, friends ask to see it, and I take it off and they see this ugly dirty patch on it. I think it's not a very good selling point.

I've had countless of fitbits, starting with the first one. and none have had what this one has.s

Sorry for the long post.
