Versa 2 screen stuck on Fitbit Logo

I received my Fitbit for my birthday in June....and today I noticed that the time was incorrect. So I decided I will wait until I get home to fix it. Then in the middle of the day, I noticed that my Fitbit only had the logo on the screen. I have tried everything from a restart to factory reset. It would be awesome if you had something in the app to force a restart or update with the Fitbit. I have no clue what to do at this point. I am also some one with high bp. Is there any other troubleshooting methods I can try or it pretty much needs to be replaced? I can not wait a month for another one.

Hi there @Fitboi20, welcome to the Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 2 is stuck on the Fitbit Logo. I'll be glad to help you to fix this issue.

If you haven't done so yet, I'd recommend trying the steps below:

  • Remove your Versa 2 from your Fitbit account and unpair it from your phone's Bluetooth.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off the Bluetooth.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth.
  • Setup your Versa 2 again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa.

If you can't get started with your Versa 2, usually a missing requirement is the cause. Carefully review the requirements provided in the help article: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?

Once your watch starts working again, please check if the heart rate is still registering too high. If so, please verifying the below information:

  1. Your device is positioned correctly on your wrist:
    • Tighten the band so that it doesn’t slip on your wrist. For more information, see How do I track my heart rate with my Fitbit device?
    • Heart-rate tracking may not work with certain accessory bands, especially if they’re loose fitting. For best results, use the wristband that came with your device.
  2. If you’re doing an exercise such as high-intensity interval training, boxing, or other activities that cause your arm to move vigorously, try to relax your wrist and stay still for up to 10 seconds until your heart rate appears.

After this, monitor your Versa 2 for the next 24 hours and see if the issue gets fixed.
