Versa 2 screen stuck on Fitbit pay

My fitbit screen will not change from my fitbit pay card. I removed the card hoping that would help but now it just says I need to set up the wallet 

I can't even see what time it is, I've held down the button on the versa 2 for 10 seconds and nothing happened. I am at a complete loss and it's been like this for 24 hours and doing my head in

I'm sorry to hear that you've experienced difficulties with your Fitbit Versa 2. Thank you for trying to resolve them before contacting us.

 

In this case you can use "Suspend a card", and if this option is no longer available please select "Deactivate Fitbit Pay". If you want to add a card to Fitbit Pay in the future, you'll be able to do it. For instructions please visit this article and open the menu "How do I remove or suspend a card from Fitbit Pay?".

 

Whether this doesn't help, please attach an image of what is shown on your Versa 2 screen.

I have removed my card completely but it still shows this.  That's the only screen I'm getting unless I get a fb message they show up on it
