Hi there, @Richn64fl. Welcome to the Community Forums.
Please restart your Versa 2 as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.
See you around.

Best AnswerIn many cases, your Fitbit did not complete its boot-up processes, which may be the reason you only see the Fitbit logo on your screen. What is this? For most Fitbit watches, press and hold the side button or buttons for at least 10 seconds until the screen goes black and the Fitbit logo reappears.

Versa 2 has not been able to sync after phone update. Tech support said it's issue between fitbit and galaxy. After many tries and starting, stopping, shutting off bluetooth etc versa 2 doesn't even show time. I have the app and it keeps telling me I need to install app to continue. FYI, my wife has the same phone and versa 2 and did the same update and has no problem. Phone is about 2 months old and versa 2 is about 2 months old.
Best AnswerI have also started having this issue. I restarted my watch with the side button, made sure it has all the updates, and nothing has changed. I want to factory reset it, but I am not sure how.
