Hello,

The screen of my Versa 2 suddenly turns yellow. If i reset it it won’t go away. Neither if I turn it on and off...

I bought my fitbit in January and it worked fine untill this morning.

Hope you can help me:)

I’ve got a Apple Iphone 8

Hi there @NaomiBeijer , welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about your Versa 2's screen behavior. I appreciate you took the time to restart your watch prior to posting here, I'll be glad to continue assisting you with this.

In order for me to better assist you, please confirmed if you've tried the following suggestions as described in those help articles:

  1. Check in the Fitbit app if your Versa 2 is still syncing, if so, try changing the clock face to a different one by following these steps: How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?. The steps are done through the Fitbit app, do not worry if you cannot see anything on the screen for this process.
  2. You've restarted your watch by following the steps from this help article: How do I restart my Fitbit device?

I'm looking forward to your response, keep me in the loop.

Hi Maria,

I tried it after work, when I turned it on and it was not yellowish anymore but after five minutes everything is yellow and stripy again. So I tried your suggestions, it still synchronising, but unfortunately it’s still yellow.

I have had a solid flickering yellow screen since this morning. I tried changing the clock faces but it hasn’t had any joy with making it work. Please can you advise how to go forward with this as I’ve only had it since March!

This is happening to me too. I followed the restart suggestions and the change clock face suggestions several times. The screen is unable to clearly see the apps, but look fuzzy sometimes in the background . Sometimes it’s just a complete cloud of blueish or yellow light. It syncs and charges, but anytime I reset or charge it the Fitbit gets hot. The charger is a Fitbit charger and never charge it unattended or overnight. I updated it and had some other syncing issues, but after the restart it worked just fine. This started this

morning after the first charge after the recent updates. Please help

Since morning I have the same issue, my screen turned yellow all of sudden and also I have a flickering yellow, black, white screen. I tried changing the the watch face from Fitbit app but still no change. It's been hardly 5 to 6 months I have purchased this and now I am getting this issue.

Please help me!!

This same thing happened to mine today too, I also recently updated. I tried resetting, turning on and off, and changing the watch face but still doing it.

This is exactly what's happening with mine. Updated on the 13/10/20. Been working fine, then this morning just a black screen with white around the edges. I have done all the troubleshooting and nothing worked.

My Versa 2 has been doing this for over 2 months now. Especially during the night when I am asleep and the alarm is supposed to wake me up. The screen turns yellow and I have to restart the watch. However, it is not only related to the alarm. Tonight I wanted to check the time and again yellow screen. This also happens to me during the day when I am not asleep, although it is more frequent during the night. My battery is also drained much faster. I've tried changing the clock face, restarted my watch many times and each night I have the same issue and with each day this issue happens more often. I have had my Versa 2 for a year now and it is still under warranty. It seems this issue was triggered by some software update as I can see the majority of users here (including me) started to have this issue around the same time.

Mine did the same thing this morning. It is 16 months old, so I don’t think it should go out this fast. They are only offering me a 35% discount, but not sure I want to spend $150 since it sounds like a common issue. Can’t they figure out a fix?? I can feel it’s still working and syncs, but the screen is not working.
