Versa 2 screen unresponsive

My Versa 2 screen is completely black. I have tried holding the side button down for 10 seconds to reset. It vibrates but I never get the Fitbit logo to appear. It is still syncing with my phone but I am not able to get any information from the screen.

Same issue here too, factory reset did nothing..😥

Just chatted with customer service.  Followed the same steps again - change the clock face and hold the button down.  It didn't work and they confirmed that it is toast.  I have been using Fitbits since 2014 and I think it is time for me to start researching other options.  I believe I have only had this one for a little over a year.  I don't wear it in the shower and never get it wet.  I don't understand why they don't last very long.  Overall my experience has been very disappointing and the amount of money I have spent getting a new Fitbit every other year or so is crazy.  They did offer me a discount on a new Fitbit but I am not sure I want to try again.
